Lucky Charms had her vet appointment and they saw two – maybe three puppies so we were ready for babies due 12/24. Of course Lucky had other plans for me, and started labor with a temp drop early 12/23, so she and I stayed home and watched Home Alone, and a few other classics. By 10 pm Christmas Eve she still hadn’t started pushing. Waiting for Santa maybe ? At 11:05 pm she had her first little baby and had #2 at 11:20pm. #3 was born at 11:55 pm! All done! cleaned up and ready for sleep! Finally ! We had one girl and two boys, all beautiful and doing well nursing etc. Christmas Day 1:30 am, the digging started again! I had already palpated to see if I felt any other babies after #3, so when #4 was born ? I was shocked! another girl! And she is the cream we’d hoped for!! All the babies are doing well and we will of course post pictures as soon as they look less like little hamsters. I believe she will be staying here with us, but of course she will have to make the grade. This litter is just phenomenal, I’m so excited to watch them develop! and we are happy to announce that we will open our waitlist to another 6 people who would like long coat puppies- we will have 4 boys and 2 girl spots. thanks for reading and for your interest in our amazing little fur babies!
