Fine Salt
Our finest grade of rock salt is used primarily as an additive for livestock feed. It is also used for processing raw hides into leather goods We offer Fine Salt in Bulk Truckloads, 50-pound plastic bags, and Tote or Bulk Bags weighing 2450 pounds. Both the 50-pound plastic bags and Tote Bags are stretch wrapped and palletized.

Our Fine grade will meet the requirements for Type II Grade II Sodium Chloride as established by the American Society for Testing and Materials.
Description
Our Fine grade is translucent grey to white in color. The appearance is powdery. We apply an anti-caking agent Yellow Prussiate of Soda (YPS) at approximately 200 parts per million (ppm) as an anti-caking agent.
Uses
Fine Grade salt is most often used either as a feed additive for livestock or in the curing of animal hides. Although less common, fine salt can also be used to melt ice and snow on roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and anywhere else ice control is needed.
